This partially workshop based course provides an understanding of how butterfly valves work, the functions they perform, their limitations, advantages and disadvantages.
Candidates will gain the ability to visually identify valves by type, list basic butterfly valve design characteristics and will be aware of common butterfly valve defects and possible repair solutions for these.
Practical training is delivered in our custom-built training workshop.
