This course is suitable for those with little or no PSV experience who are looking to build a basic awareness of how PSVs operate, the reasons for their use and the functions they carry out.
Attendees will build a basic awareness of how PSVs operate, their construction, characteristics common applications, operation and basic PSV terminology. They will gain an appreciation for problems that may be encountered in the field.
An introduction to PSV re-certification is also given, introducing the reasons for testing, what should be identified and the steps to be taken when carrying out a test.
Entirely classroom based, 3D modelling and a range of cut away training valves are used to aid visualisation.
