Course DetailsThe aim of this course is to provide -best practice- physical skills, supported by sound mental skills, underpinning knowledge and attitude, in accordance with all relevant codes, practices, legislation and standards in the inspection and verification of pressure safety valve inspection and verification. The focus of this learning program is very much on safety, health, environmental issues and quality in relation to PSV inspection and verification. Training will be on best practice, in addition it will be identified what can and will happen if these methods and systems are not followed. A range of equipment will be used throughout the program, which includes conventional PSVs, balanced bellows PSVs, modulating POPSVs and snap action POPSVs. Certain manufacturers may be available on request. PSVs form a crucial part of any safety system and it is essential that they conform to the necessary standards.
