The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of how actuators work and where they can be used, identifying the common defects found within different applications.

The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of tube bending and the fittings used in the instrumentation process. Each candidate will understand the basic design principles of each fitting type and identify where they can be used.

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the purpose of various joints and how each type performs its function, maintaining a seal. Also looked at is the reasoning behind the torque tightening of fasteners.
